Candle Care 101
A few simple habits will make your VERIFLAME candle burn better, last longer, and crackle louder.
First Burn Matters
Let the wax melt all the way to the edges on your first burn (about 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle.
Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, gently break off the charred wood at the tip. Wood wicks should be about 3/16" (5mm) tall. This keeps the flame controlled and the crackle consistent.
Burn Time Sweet Spot
Burn for 2-4 hours at a time. Less than 1 hour can cause tunneling. More than 4 hours can overheat the container. The sweet spot is 3 hours.
Know When to Say Goodbye
Stop burning when there's about 1/2 inch of wax left. Burning past this point can overheat the glass. Clean the vessel and reuse it — it makes a beautiful holder for pens, brushes, or small plants.

Wood wicks produce a soft crackling sound similar to a fireplace, creating a multi-sensory experience. They also create a wider, more even flame that melts the wax more uniformly, and they're made from natural, sustainable wood.
Are your candles non-toxic?
Yes. We use 100% Natural Soy Wax, natural wood wicks, and premium fragrance oils. No paraffin, No synthetic dyes, No lead. Our candles burn clean.
How long do your candles burn?
Our 10oz candles burn for 60+ hours when properly maintained. The 4oz candles in our gift sets burn for approximately 25 hours each.
