Every candle goes through the same process. Nothing is automated. Here's what that looks like.
Source
We use 100% natural soy wax. No paraffin blends, no palm oil. The wood wicks come from sustainably managed forests, and we test each batch for crackle consistency before we use them.
Blend
Each scent is built around a specific mood or moment — not just a list of ingredients. We work with perfumers to balance top, middle, and base notes so the fragrance shifts as it burns instead of hitting you with one flat note for 60 hours.
Test
Every new scent goes through 15-20 rounds of burn testing before it gets approved. We measure scent throw, flame height, burn time, and how the wick behaves at different stages. Most formulas don't make it past round five.
Pour
Wax goes in at 185°F. Fragrance at 135°F. Pour at 120°F. These numbers matter — they determine how well the scent binds to the wax. Every candle is poured by hand, one at a time.
Cure
After pouring, each candle sits for at least 72 hours. This lets the fragrance fully bond with the soy wax. Skip this step and you get a weaker scent throw. We don't skip it.
Inspect
Every candle is checked before it ships. Off-center wick, uneven surface, air bubbles — it doesn't go out.
